Perry Wood
Located in Selling & Chilham parishes, it is designated a Local Wildlife Site used mostly for wildlife conservation and quiet recreation. The views are stunning and panoramic giving a unique perspective on the landscape.
Cromer’s Wood
Cromer’s Wood is a traditionally managed ancient semi-natural woodland on the southeast side of a dry slope valley. With ancient ash pollards and spring flowers.
Gorham & Admiral’s Wood
An 85 acre ancient woodland at Bicknor, containing a huge variety of woodland types, from damp woodland on the floor of the valley, chalk woodland on its slopes and acid type woodland on higher ground.
Hucking Estate
This large and engaging site offers a mix of ancient woodland, planted secondary woodland and open grassland; together with woodland archaeology remains, wonderful walks, interesting wildlife and breath-taking views.
